Bio: I’m an MSc student in Integrated Studies in Land and Food Systems at UBC. I completed my undergraduate degree in Forestry Sciences from Tribhuvan University Nepal. I also worked as a Founder President for an NGO called ROAR FOR CONSERVATION in Nepal before I joined WECL as a Graduate Research Assistant.

Research: My major research interest lies in understanding the diverse facets of Human-Wildlife Interactions in human-dominated landscapes. In the past, I have worked to study the drivers of HWC in and around protected areas of Nepal. Currently, my research focus is to investigate the drivers and outcomes of Human-Wildlife Interactions for major species in British Columbia.
